Air conditioning costs money two different ways. There is the big one-time hit of a new system, which never seems to come at a convenient time. And there is the ongoing cost of keeping a system healthy so it does not blindside you with a repair. There is a way to soften each one. Here is how both work at Hawkins.

Financing a new system

When a system quits for good, the price of a replacement is the scary part — and in July, waiting is not really an option. Financing spreads the cost into monthly payments so you can make the right long-term call instead of the cheapest short-term patch.

We work with First Financial Bank — a name you already know around here. You can apply in minutes, right from your phone, and approval often happens within minutes.

One thing we say plainly: Hawkins is not the lender. First Financial Bank provides the financing and sets your rate, terms, and monthly payment based on your application, subject to credit approval. What we do is make applying easy and get the work done fast once you are approved. If you would rather talk it through first, call us — there is no application required to ask questions. See our financing page for the details.

Keeping it running: H.A.V.E.N. plans

The other half of the equation is maintenance. Most breakdowns give a warning — a dirty coil, a weak capacitor, a low charge — and those do not fail on a mild day. They fail in July at 4pm. Two check-ups a year catch those problems before the heat does, put you first in line, and take the sting out of repairs.

Our plans are called H.A.V.E.N. — the Hawkins Advanced Ventilation Efficiency Network. There are four tiers, and every one includes a smart thermostat with professional installation on eligible systems:

  • Essential, $19.99/mo. Smart thermostat and install, app control, continuous system monitoring, and remote diagnostics. Repairs are billed at standard rates.
  • Plus, $39.99/mo. Everything in Essential, plus priority scheduling, an annual maintenance visit, a standard filter, and same-day service when available. This is the one most homeowners pick.
  • Pro, $69.99/mo. Everything in Plus, plus two seasonal maintenance visits, covered capacitors and contactors under plan terms, no overtime fees, 5% off HVAC and plumbing repairs, and an annual plumbing inspection.
  • Platinum, starting at $399/mo with an inspection and approval required. Total system protection — approved covered repairs included with no diagnostic, labor, or parts charge on them, first-in-line priority, and up to an $8,000 replacement credit. Age and condition restrictions apply.

Plans run on a one-year service agreement with monthly auto-pay. You can see all four tiers and enroll here.

What every tune-up covers

No matter the tier, a visit is not a quick glance. We check the full system — pressures, temperatures, and airflow — clean the coil, inspect the electrical side, check the refrigerant charge and top it off if needed, and leave you a written summary. Regular maintenance also protects your manufacturer warranty, which usually requires yearly service to stay valid.

How the two work together

They solve different problems, and they pair well. Finance the install so a new system does not have to wait for payday, then put it on a plan so it stays healthy, keeps its warranty, and does not surprise you. One takes the sting out of buying; the other takes the sting out of owning. Either way, call or text (325) 692-3645 and a real person will pick up.

Does Hawkins set the financing rate?

No. First Financial Bank is the lender and sets your rate, terms, and monthly payment based on your application, subject to credit approval. We just make applying easy and do the install once you are approved.

How fast is financing approval?

Often within minutes through First Financial Bank, so you are not left wondering where you stand.

What does a Hawkins maintenance plan cost?

Plans start at $19.99 a month for Essential. Most homeowners choose Plus at $39.99 or Pro at $69.99. Platinum, our total-protection tier, starts at $399 a month and requires an inspection and approval.

Do the plans really include a smart thermostat?

Yes — every plan includes a smart thermostat with professional installation on eligible systems. Communicating systems are excluded from the thermostat offer but still get the other plan benefits.
